You have only one nose and one palate - why not excite and challenge them?

The majority of wine enjoyed by most drinkers in California is made from Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, or other well known varietals.  But there are a world of other wine varietals that are tasty and exciting to try.

Brad's wine competition events enable him to find truly unusual and interesting wines.  Many have won Gold and Silver medals in competition.

We will taste together and discuss eight little know white and red wines.  They may include Melon de Bourgogne frrom Oregon, Bonarda from Argentina, Marquette from Wisconsin, Dry Vignoles from Missouri, Pinot Meunier, Valdiguie, Petite Verdot and Teroldego from California.  Wines are subject to substitution depending upon tasting them for faults the day of the event.

The goal of this event is enjoyment, and some wine education.  Wine friendly snacks included.

Cost for Members $17/person; Non-Members +$2   Space is limited.

Contact (619) 654-7334 or email sdchapter.aws40@yahoo.com for details and an evite.  Cheers!
