Really?Yes really! Two Bordeaux’s from Chateau Auguste, one rosé and the other red, both blends of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. We don’t usually partake in big promotions like this because the wine quality is usually lacking, but this one is different. These “Official Wines of the Boston Red Sox” are delicious, as well as made from organic grapes. Kurt, our supplier of these wines, will present them, both at the same price:
Chateau Auguste, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rose, Bordeaux, Fr, Y, Dry and bright, with classic vibrant, mineral-accented strawberry, red currant and tangerine scents. “Racy, precise and light on its feet, tangy red berry flavors and a bracingly beautiful minerality. Lithe and pure, with no excess weight but plenty of depth. Stony and fresh finish displaying excellent clarity and persistence
Chateau Auguste, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Smooth Red, Bordeaux, Fr, Y, Well-balanced, well-structured medium-to full bodied Bordeaux. Rich and soft flavors are present with fresh black fruit and soft integrated tannins. There are aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry, dark plum, black cherry, licorice, and cedar, with a beautifully persistent finish
