Wednesday is all Rhone Valley, with Jo-Ann Ross*. She will wow you with information about the area and taste you on four excellent and representative wines from the Southern end of the Rhone Valley. The South is all about blends, and the first is a mouth-watering white blend of 5 grapes. The second is a classic French rosé. Then it’s two rich red blends, one dominated by Grenache and the other by Syrah. Come and learn about and taste Rhone Valley wines.
Chateau Mourgues du Gres Les Galets Dore's, Grenache Blanc, Roussane, Vermentino, Marsanne, Clairette, Rich White, Costieres de Nimes, Fr, Y, Ripe stone fruit bouquet; more of the same on the palate with a nice mouthfeel and viscosity, fresh and long.
Domaine des Aphillanthes, Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Counoise, Rose ,Rhone, Fr, Ripe strawberry and raspberry aromas. Crisp acidity and dry, with lots of strawberry, citrus, and raspberry flavors followed by a long slightly tart mineral finish. Sumptuous and long on the palate
