This is a tasting I've had on the back burner for years and finally going to make it happen.
Anyone can spend big bucks on wine and expect it to be great. What's not so sure is spending a lot less and still getting a very good tasting experience.
We asked Bob Feinn of Mt Carmel Wines who has one of the best palates in Conn. to select 8 wines on our theme of Rich Man/Poor Man. We'll taste 4 pairs blind and you can guess which one is the less expensive wine.
The difference should be obvious because one wine will be about 3 times more expensive.
This is a great opportunity to hone your tasting perception abilities. Our goal is to see if it is possible to get a great wine at a 'Poor Man's' price.
We return to the Wine Library Room at Park Central which is fast becoming one of our favorite venues with a choice of 3/4 main courses.
