Alison Crowe has developed a great reputation among California winemakers. She knew at 17 years old that she wanted to major in enology at UC Davis, arguably the best wine program in the world. She worked with the famous (some would say infamous) Randall Graham for five years at Bonny Doon and spent time working with Laureano Gomez and Michel Rolland at Bodegas Salentein in Mendoza Argentina.
In 2014 her blog Girl and the Grape won best new wine blog. I just read her blog on bottling, very detailed, and shows how involved Alison is in all aspects of wine production.
Brian Petrie of Bronco wines, parent company to Picket Fence and Garnet will be here to discuss the wines.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open @ 4:00. I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
