For this unique tasting of under-the-radar family estates, we’re happy to collaborate with “Soif de” (Thirst For), a Michigan-based supplier of French wine. “Our partner vintners are mostly small farmers who love what they do and are thrilled to have their wines be appreciated overseas.” We’ll take a virtual tour through France, from Champagne to Corsica, sampling both traditional and unexpected cuvées. In Burgundy’s northernmost outpost, Moutard-Diligent has their 27th generation winemaker at the helm! We’ll touch down in Épernay with deVenoge Champagne, in Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provençe at Château de Calalvon, in Roussillon’s deep south with Domaine Força Réal, and in Beaujolais with Domaine Chaintreuil’s Fleurie. Stunning Corsica will offer us Domaine Orenga de Gaffory reds made from Niellucciu, a.k.a. Sangiovese. Join us for this French discovery tasting!
