I'm always excited when I come across an importer or distributor that specializes in wine from family owned and farmed estates passed down from generation to generation. You can practically taste the history behind the vines. You can taste the pride and extra special care that goes into making the wines. Such are the wines we'll be tasting from Casa de Case.

2017 Tenuta Il Falchetto, "Ajman" Rosato Monferatto Ciaret DOC, Piemonte
Grape varieties: Nebbiolo / Pinot Nero
(Single vineyard dedicated to rosato only)
Lillian’s Wine Note – “I absolutely love the Rosato. It's one of those wines where you take a sip and all of a sudden you take notice and want to see the bottle - you want to know what this wine is so you can have it again! It is so crisp and refreshing (almost like a chilled strawberry-lime mousse) that on a warm day I can see this wine just cooling you off and allowing you to relax, sit back and enjoy your surroundings. I personally love rosés I have to say I couldn't stop thinking about this rosato and couldn't wait to bring it in.”

Lillian’s Wine Note – “The Arneis is beautifully made wine. You can taste the finesse of the minerality and feel the texture and body in your mouth. It would be pair well with the Artichoke Dip, the Crab Cake Sliders and the Meredith Dairy Feta or the Brillat Savarin.”

Lillian's Wine Note – “The Vermentino is a white wine that was made by keeping the grapes in contact with the skins for 24 hours. The flavors are so interesting as a result - I even get a hint of mint - it's fantastic! It's one of those wines that is so unique and for me truly memorable.”

Our tastings are presented in a casual, fun and informative environment. Generally, 3-4 wines are poured with the cost ranging between $10 and $20, depending on the wines offered. The last Saturday of the month features a 4 glass Blind Tasting. Can you deduce the varietal?
Wine Gallery strives to support local and boutique wineries. We explore regions and varietals from around the world. Giving you to chance to experience unique wines without needing a plane ticket and passport.
Winemakers and guest pourers who are extremely knowledgeable about the wine region and varietals or representatives of the winery are on hand at several of our tasting events.
