THE WINEMAKERS AUGUST WINE DINNER

Join us for a four-course food and wine pairing and celebrate the farmers that cultivated wine culture in America as we head into harvest season.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22ND AND 23RD, at 6:30 PM

$40 PER PERSON*

*excludes tax & gratuity

COURSE 1

SHRIMP SCAMPI

Garlic, white wine and our lemon butter sauce served with baked bread

WILLIAM HILL CHARDONNAY

Bright, medium-bodied chardonnay offering flavors of ripe melon, peach and notes of citrus blossom with a crisp acidity and smooth mouthfeel

COURSE 2

LASAGNE

Pasta layered with our pomodoro sauce, meat sauce, ricotta, romano, and mozzarella cheeses

J. LOHR "SEVEN OAKS" CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Layered aromas of cassis and black cherry with a bouquet of hazelnut and cocoa combine with sturdy tannins to finish with a high-toned fruit signature

COURSE 3

CHICKEN MARSALA

Wood-grilled and topped with mushrooms and our Lombardo Marsala wine sauce. Served with roasted carrots

MARKHAM MERLOT

Juicy plum, black pepper spice and cherry pie flavors are punctuated with aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate to play against chewy tannins and a long, graceful finish

COURSE 4

CHOCOLATE BUDINO

Creamy chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce and house-made whipped cream

BERINGER FOUNDERS' ESTATE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Flavors of raspberry, vanilla spice and toasted oak accompany the supple tannins in this full-bodied wine
