Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur, in association with Book Passage bookstore Cooks with Books program, will host a dinner on Thursday, November 8, 2018, with Dorie Greenspan, author of the newly released Everyday Dorie: The Way I Cook. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be priced at $120 per person/$185 per couple, which includes the meal, wine, tax, gratuity and a signed copy of the book. The evening kicks off with a book signing, followed by a sit-down meal inspired by the author's recipes and overseen by the restaurant's Chief Culinary Officer, Roland Passot. The hardcover publication showcases practical family recipes made with common ingredients easily found at the market or farmer’s markets and that can be used for a simple weeknight meal or for dinner with guests. Greenspan, described as a “culinary guru,” is a five-time James Beard Award-winner for many of her cookbooks and magazine articles. She has collaborated with celebrated chefs, has an online weekly baking club, and currently writes the New York Times’ Sunday Magazine “On Dessert” monthly column.
