In celebration of New Zealand Organic Wine Week, we’re teaming up with Organic Winegrowers New Zealand to celebrate the breadth and quality of organic kiwi wine on September 19th
We will be hanging, drinking and talking with 10+ of our favourite organic wineries and you and your mates get to come along, sample the wines, enjoy the awesome DJ!
At 8pm Mel Brown will take the stage with Blair Walter (Felton Road) & Rudi Bauer (Quartz Reef) to discuss the intricacies and importance of sustainability in our wine making future. Both men represent vineyards that are organic, biodynamic and from Central Otago – what more could you want?!?
If it’s to chat to the reps from each of the other incredible vineyards we’re featuring, then your wish has come true. Bring along your questions and talking points, so we can extend the organic conversation and educate everyone on why organic is better for all.
If all continues in the right direction it is proposed that by 2020, 20% of all NZ wineries will be certified organic – and the world that much closer to being a sustainable gold mine.
