Nevada City Uncorked, gateway to the wines of the north Sierra Foothills
Join an intimate, unscripted symposium with three of Nevada County's best winemakers in the Nevada City Winery barrel room. Winemakers Mark Henry from Montoliva, Jackson Starr from Sierra Starr and the dean of Nevada County winemakers, Mark Foster from Nevada City Winery, will sit on the panel that will be moderated by Rod Byers. With over 50 different varietals in production, the region offers remarkable diverisity. But does one varietal need to be best? The topic for discussion will focus on the future of winemaking in the region and the need, or not, for a flagship varietal.
The symposium is free but you will need a ticket to get into the barrel room. The only way to get a free ticket is to purchase your tickets to Nevada City Uncorked. Tickets are limited.
