ABOUT OUR SPECIAL GUEST:
Kristen believes that everyone deserves to be pampered, everyday. With that in mind, she created La Pomponnee Beauty Artisans, which roughly translates from French: “one who has been dolled up”.
The first location opened in 1992 with a staff of six and offered many of the same services still being enjoyed today. Since then, business has continued to flourish. La Pomponnee now sees 250 clients a day between two Pittsburgh-area locations for cutting edge, head-to-toe services ranging from hair and make-up design to massage therapy.
As an Aveda Lifestyle store, salon and spa, she believes that Nature is the best beauty artist of all. There is a commitment to deliver high performance, botanically-based products that are kinder to the planet – which is good for all of us — goes much deeper than our use of naturally derived ingredients.
