It's late August, and that means Harvest is upon us. Join City Winery in a harvest kick off class; where we will explore our winery as we prep for fruit and fermentation, then we will sit down for a tasting and an in depth class detailing steps in the vineyard that lead up to picking fruit! We will discuss basic viticulture theory, including organic and biodynamic certifications, how vineyards decide that fruit is ripe and ready for harvest, to the steps within the winery that are taken to make delicious wine.
