Compete to earn a spot on TEAM USA and win a trip to France!Amateurs, enthusiasts, and wine professionals are all welcome.
The event is a head-to-head competition tasting twelve wines, six white and six red from around the world. Contestants are scored on their ability to correctly determine the primary grape varietal, country of origin, wine region of origin, vintage, and producer of each wine.
The winners from the U.S. Open on August 11 will become the 2018 Team USA and will represent the country at the World Wine Tasting championship on October 12 & 13 in Languedoc, France. Airfare and hotel in France will be provided to the winner.
A limited number of spectators are welcome and can taste along with the competitors at $60 per person.
