Chef John Smith of EJ's Urban Eatery collaborates with Fence Stile Vineyards and Winery on a special five-course food and wine dinner on Thursday, August 23rd, at 5:30 PM. Fans of Fence Stile Vineyard and Winery in Excelsior Springs will have the opportunity to taste and explore the wines paired with a wide array of meat, seasonal ingredients, and savory side dishes. Fence Stile owner Shriti Plimpton and event manager Pete Dulin met with Chef Smith to discuss the wines and collaborate on an exciting menu.
Guests will be greeted at EJ's Urban Eatery with a welcome glass of sangria as they arrive. Fence Stile's wines for this dinner include special offerings of its 57 Red and 57 White blends not typically available outside of the winery, Becca Blend (a blend of Seyval and Vidal Blanc), Chambourcin, and Sweet Enchantment.
