This will be a "Vertical Tasting" of three Sauvignon Blanc vintages and three Fume' Blanc vintages. The selected wines are from vineyards in the Texas Davis Mountains. By tasting the same wine from different vintages side-by-side, the goal is to explore both the similarities and differences in the wines. You'll become more familiar with regional resemblances, vineyard differences, varietal similarities, weather effects, and winemaking styles.
Included: tastings of the six wines, a form for your tasting notes, pallet cleansers during the tastings, hors d'oeuvres after the tastings. The winemaker will guide us through the six wines. The wines will be available for purchase in limited supply.
