There can be no argument made that Bourbon is not America’s defining spirit.  From its backwoods origins, to the laws of Congress that dictate how it must be produced, to it’s mid-century apogee to its late century near-collapse, to its modern renaissance, Bourbon has fueled the American century.  Join us as we trace, track, and taste this remarkable tradition. Beginning with pre-prohibition recipes, moving onto exceptional examples of “classic” bourbon onto where Bourbon is today, this is a past/present/future sort of seminar led by our General Manager and spirits fanatic, JT Robertson.  And if all of that hasn’t convinced, we have three words:

Pappy.  Van. Winkle.

The following Bourbons will be poured at this event:

Old Forester 1920 Craft Prohibition Style

Kentucky Bourbon Distillers Old Bardstown 101

Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year

George T. Stagg

Hillrock Solera Bourbon

Barrell Bourbon # 14

The Journey Through the Bourbon Tradition will be held on Friday, June 29th from 7-9pm.
