Does your Italian wine experience begin and end at Chianti? Did you know that Italy has 20 wine regions, over 500 different grape varietals and over 50,000 wineries, the vast majority being small and family-owned! Join us to taste some delicious wines that are incredibly popular in Italy, but wines you just might not have tasted here in the US. We’ll taste a highly-rated white wine made from the ancient Falanghina grape in southern Italy and a white wine blend made of exclusively Italian white grapes. In addition, we’ll taste two lighter style red wines, one made from the Dolcetto grape and the other made from the Cannonau grape in Sardinia. And last, we’ll taste two full-bodied red wines made from the Nebbiolo grape--the king of Italian grapes-- and Italy’s most prized grape varietal. Don’t miss this incredible event; find something new and different to open among friends or plan a fabulous meal around!
