ALYSSA WOLF
After working for nine years in healthcare, Alyssa realized that her true passion lies in sharing wine with people rather than torturing them as she did in her prior role as physical therapist. Alyssa started on the WSET track in 2016, and has loved meeting the wonderful people living the wine life.
IAN WOLF
As a recovering lawyer, Ian sometimes feels like a cliche. He gets weirdly excited about the role that random chance plays in the carefully orchestrated process of making wine. Fortunately, he loves paperwork so is an invaluable asset to this importer team.

2016 Babylon Storen Mourvedre Rose
Showing strawberries and rose petals on the nose, strawberry yogurt on the palate with a fresh acidity for a delicious, lingering mouth feel. Made in a Bandol like style this wine has nice freshness and a bit more length and complexity than the typical Provencal rose. During the hot summer months, the wine is very versatile for pairing with food but also great on its own.

2017 Kaapzicht Chenin Blanc
Ripe quince, pineapple and stone fruit with unique savory undertones on the nose. The palate is lightly textured with a hint of sweetness and balancing crunchy acid results in a brisk finish. Great pairing with Smoked Salmon, Sweet & Sour Pork, & Grilled Chicken.

2016 Eagle’s Nest Sauvignon Blanc
The nose shows aromas of passion fruit, pineapples and guavas. The palate is fresh, with a soft, elegant mouth-feel, a lively acidity while the tropical fruit aromas carry through. Works great with Sushi, shellfish or grilled fish.

2017 Kaapzicht Kaleidiscope
Integrated flavors of black and red berries, tea leaves and spice invite a sip of this easy drinking blend; the gentle structure, with soft tannins supporting a core of sweet berry fruit, adds friendly drink ability; medium bodied with a well-rounded savory finish. 2015 Kaapzicht Pinotage
Wild fruit, prune and berry with toasted cedar, vanilla and gun smoke on the nose. Palate starts out racy, with bright red fruit and firm tannins, developing further complexity of sour cherry, cola, green olives and smoke. Great to pair with gilled meats especially game or BBQ.

2013 Eagle’s Nest Shiraz
On the nose, aromas of freshly crushed red pepper kernel, intense blueberry and subtle black cherry are with a faint hint of smoky baking spices. On the palate creamy mouth filling tannins integrate with pepper spice resulting in a delicious, savory flavor sensation, a balanced acidity, and a long finish. Wonderful to pair with Lamb, Grass fed Beef, Venison, and Bleu Cheese.
