Local Event
Cost: Complimentary with dinner
Celebrate the Fourth of July and American independence with a complimentary whiskey and beer tasting with your dinner at Stage Left Steak. Then, stroll next door to The State Theatre New Jersey for a free 7 p.m. screening of 1776, a 1972 film based on the way-before-Hamilton Tony Award-winning musical by the same name. With your dinner order, Stage Left Steak will offer tastings of Master Distiller Colonel James E. Pepper’s 1776 rye, bourbon and ale. Pepper proudly proclaimed his continued use of his grandfather’s original Revolutionary‐era recipes, and nicknamed his whiskey “Old 1776.” No more than 30 days after the whiskey barrels are dumped, they are filled with beer. Every batch gets a rich rye whiskey finish and notes of toffee, chocolate, oak, and vanilla. It will be a splendid night of beer, whiskey, film and America. For dinner reservations, call 732-828-4444 .
