LOCATION & PHONE
Wine Vault & Bistro is located in the heart of San Diego between Little Italy and Old Town at 3731-A India Street on the upstairs terrace. Follow the black handrail up the stairs from the sidewalk to our front door. Our phone number is (619) 295-3939.

PARKING ~ FREE & PAID
Valet parking is available for $8.00. The drop-off point is two doors south of our entrance in front of Shakespeare Pub at the corner of India and Winder. Also, on-street parking is usually available within a 3-block radius. Remember that it’s OK to park in yellow commercial zones after 6:00 and that meters are also free after 6:00. You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed! If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always LOTS OF PARKING on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street. So please don't drive yourself crazy endlessly going around in circles waiting to pounce on that perfect spot when there's TONS OF PARKING less than three blocks away!

WINE NOTES & BOTTLE PRICES
2015 Gérard Bertrand "Crémant de Limoux" Rosé ~ $14
(France) Winemaker's Notes: 70% Chardonnay, 15% Chenin Blanc + 15% Pinot Noir. Chardonnay is the key ingredient in this blend, contributing to the Crémant's well-balanced texture and providing the delicate bubbles. Chenin Blanc contributes vivacity and, in time, will reveal exceptional richness. Pinot Noir supplies the exceptional color. Boasts a beautiful, salmon-pink robe with glimmering reflections. Delicate bubbles and an extraordinary vivacity on the palate, with a rich, indulgent texture. A complex bouquet with long-lasting aromas of strawberry and raspberry, backed with hints of toasted bread.

2014 Cent'Anni "Buoni Anni" Sangiovese ~ $22
(Santa Ynez Valley) Winemaker's Notes: A classic Sangiovese that is dry, lean and complex. The typical Sangiovese aromas of spice and violets are here; complemented by plum, earthy currants and Bing cherry. The wine has a wonderful silky texture. The tannins and firm acidity are present but integrated. Even though we are growing in one of the cooler climates in California we still get fully physiological mature grapes. The firm but benevolent framework means it’s drinkable now.

2016 Venge "Scout's Honor" Proprietary Red ~ $32
(Napa Valley) Winemaker's Notes: 68% Zinfandel, 16% Charbono, 10% Petite Sirah + 6% Syrah. This vintage has a sumptuous concentration on the nose of sweet black fruit, crushed blue herbs, anise, black truffle, and vanillin. The palate is rich with sweet blueberry and raspberry fruit, dried cherries, black currants, and pepper spices. Fleshy and succulent with an enveloping masculinity of char and tannins from the Syrah, Charbono and Petite Sirah. A seamless balance and mouth coating delicious-ness are found throughout with an extra long finish that is quite pleasing to the senses. Cellared correctly it will age for 5 to 10 years.

2014 Bokisch Graciano ~ $19
(Lodi) 100% Graciano. Winemaker's Notes: Aromas of blueberries and blackberries combine with the earthiness of a forest floor and end with hints of cinnamon and blackberry syrup. Bold, juicy flavors of blackberry jam, blueberry pie and fruit roll-up with natural acidity adding great balance to the silky smooth flavors and the long finish. There is a reason this is one of our favorite varieties and an essential component of the best Spanish Riojas.

2016 Michele Chiarlo "Nivole" Moscato d'Asti ~ $20
(Italy) Winemaker's Notes: This sweet, fragrant, lightly sparkling wine has vivid aromas and flavors of peach, apricot, grapefruit and sage on a light body with a delicate finish typical of Moscato d’Asti. An excellent companion to fresh pastries and fruit such as strawberries and peaches.
