Chris is a "Sake Ninja" (in wine terms - the equivalent of a Master Sommelier!) He is one of the first Americans to receive this prestigious title, and is now a worldwide ambassador for the drink!
Join us at The Little Birdie Wine Nest on Saturday, June 30th beginning at 6:00pm for a very unique experience featuring a special sit-down tasting of premium Japanese sake and a once-in-a-lifetime education on this incredibly versatile beverage. Sake is to Japan what scotch is to Scotland, and wine is to France - it’s considered the country’s national drink! ... but there is SO much more to sake than the hot, clear liquor most Americans only drink at Japanese restaurants.
Sake can be refined, savory, and complex - just like wine! An amazingly diverse beverage, you can drink it warm, hot, cold, ice cold, on the rocks, in cocktails - there are endless expressions, and it can be paired with a wide variety of cuisine as well!
Tickets are $45/pp and includes SEVEN premium tastings of Japanese sake, expertly paired by Chris with a small bite of cheese/charcuterie. There will be the option to add the experience a luxury sake offering as a bonus pours as well!
