July 20th marks Argentina’s Día de Amigo (Friends Day), and we’re celebrating the bond between Susana Balbo Wines and City Winery with a little friendly competition!

Argentines often cope with the sweltering Mendoza summers by freezing half a melon and filling it with Torrontés, Argentina’s signature white wine. Inspired by this “Melontés,” we’ve challenged four top wine industry professionals to share their best Melontés cocktail, with the only rule that it must include Torrontés and Melon.

Join us in the festivities and judge the favorite creation. Tickets are $60 and include a tasting of the four melontés cocktails, two glasses of Susana Balbo Wines and passed appetizers. Additional wine will be available for purchase.
