Join us Saturday, June 30th from 12 to 4pm for our second annual Zachys Yacht Club Party. For our sparkling fans we will be sampling the delightful sparkling wines of Mumm Napa. Mumm Napa was founded in the Carneros region of California in late 1970’s by the historic Champagne house G.H. Mumm. These Napa sparkling wines are made using the same method as their Champagnes and the result is a terrific product at a fraction of the cost. We will also be featuring wines from Brancott Estate, credited as the first commercial growers in the Marlborough region of New Zealand in 1973. This region was long considered to be too cold for anything but sheep grazing, but thanks to the trail blazers at Brancott, Marlborough has become an iconic region for light and tropical summer wines.
More of a red fan? It’s not too late to find a fun new wine to pair with your grilled meats; we will also be sampling Pinot Noirs from Stoneleigh and Brancott, as well as the newest release from Jacob’s Creek. The Double Barrel Series puts an exotic twist on the original rich, fruit forward Australian reds by placing them in a finishing barrel from some very well-known whisk(e)y producers. One whiff of the glass and I had visions of juicy sliders, kebabs and a dozen other grilled meats dancing through my head. And speaking of food, how could you have a proper Yacht party without proper Yacht fare? The local culinary innovators of Chat American Grill will be providing you with an outstanding menu, including:
-Lobster rolls
-Passionfruit bbq glazed shrimp skewers
-Melon and prosciutto skewers
-Tomato & mozzarella skewers
-Pork “carnitas" mini tacos
-Chipotle chicken stuffed phyllo pouches
-Cowboy caviar (corn and bean salad)
- Beef sliders
