Santa Barbara County's Storm Wines will host a dinner and wine tasting at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 28, in the underground wine cave at Pala Casino Spa & Resort. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets, $85 per person, plus an 18 percent gratuity, are available by calling 1-877-946-7252 and ask to book the Storm wine dinner. Guests will enjoy a five-course dinner with wine pairings from Storm's portfolio of fine wines. Dining and tasting will start with Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Passion Fruit Chutney and Fried Avocado and a Sauvignon Blanc Storm Santa Ynez Valley Wine. The second course will feature Steak Tartare & Carpaccio with Tarragon Aioli and Grilled Crostini and a Pinot Noir Storm John Sebastiano Vineyard, Santa Rita Hills. The third course will offer Filo Crusted Dover Sole with Crab Brandade, Pea Shoots and Sauce Dijon, with a Chardonnay Notary Public by Ernst Storm, Whitehall Vineyard, Santa Barbara County. The fourth course will be a Cast Iron Mixed Grill featuring Filet Mignon, Colorado Lamb, Pork Tenderloin,Crisp Potato Rosti and Harcort Verts with a Syrah Storm Slide Hill Vineyard, Edna Valley. Dessert will be Chef Albert Cruz' Chocolate Trio with a Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Notary Public by Ernst Storm, Happy Canyon, Santa Barbara County.
