MENU
Chateau Chasse-Spleen 2015 Moulis en Medoc
The wine is straightforward and clean. Aromas and flavors of vanilla, cherry, fireplace, red fruit and hints of wood. There is a silky and creaminess on the palate and the finish is persistent and contains flavors of morello cherry.
Chateau Dassault 2015 St-Emilion
It has tannins and a dense texture that comes from its rich fruit and high alcohol. However, it's balanced and jammy, with ripe blackberry flavors and a sense of restrained power. Chateau Leoville Barton 2014 St-Julien
Chateau Lagrange 2015 St-Julien
Dark purple red with violet hues and almost black core. Aromatic nose with elegant character, dark berries, discreet oak spices and very fine toasting aromas. On the palate full-bodied yet elegant, ripe tannins with velvety texture, with a long and fruity finish carried by the bold Cabernet Sauvignon. A powerful and well balanced wine.
Chateau Leoville Barton 2014 St-Julien
This wine, with its massive tannins and rich fruit, is obviously set for a long life. It does have the contrast of fresh black-currant acidity to give it a lift. But with the power behind it, the wine will develop slowly.
Chateau Lynch-Moussas 2015 Pauillac
This is a vastly improved estate, making impressively good wines in recent vintages. The wine is structured and tannic but also packed with black-currant fruits, good acidity and spice.
