Christmas in July with Hope4Cure on Saturday July 21 offers a rare opportuinty to experience the elegant ambience of the exclusive Newcastle Club with all the fun and frivolity of the festive season. This unique event recreates the magic of Christmas with lavish spreads of decadent delights, captivating live entertainment, a spirit of giving and an element of surprise! Hosted tastings, auctions and raffles offer the chance to take away something truly special from this event but just taking part is its own reward, becuase this Chrsitmas is all about a different sort of giving. Generously supported by some of the Hunter's finest producers and best local businesses this is Hope4Cure's major fundraiser for 2018 which aims to raise over $25,000 in support of Hunter women and their families who have been impacted by ovarian and gynaecological cancers. Founded by a local family who lost a loved one to ovarian cancer, Hope4Cure has raised over $55,000 since 2016 and is funding medical equipment for Muswellbrook Hospital and providing cancer care packs. According to HMRI, only one in ten women diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer will survive beyond 5 years while those diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer have a 90% survival rate.
