Bay Area wine enthusiast are preparing to descend on Downtown San Carlos to say cheers during the city’s Summer Wine Stroll. The San Carlos Chamber of Commerce is once again partnering with the Mid Peninsula Wine Trail for the upcoming Summer Wine & Dine Stroll scheduled for Sunday, June 10th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Wine Stroll made its debut last year to sell-out crowds. There will be 600 tickets available for the June event, with each visitor receiving a keepsake wine glass sponsored by Domenico Winery in San Carlos.
Sixteen San Carlos merchants and businesses will open their shops as pouring locations, pairing with boutique wineries who will showcase their varietals and blends. Merchants will partner with local restaurants to provide light bites to nibble while stroller’s taste. There will also be a “bottle booth” on premises so that wine walk participants can purchase any of the wines that are being sampled that day.
Live entertainment and a festive atmosphere are all part of the Summer Wine Stroll experience. It will be a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting, shopping and dining. The event ends just in time for dinner, so participants can enjoy San Carlos’ well-known restaurant scene. Some are offering discounts on their entrees and free bottle corkage.
Ticket Prices: $45/Person through June 8th and $50/Person day of the event.
