Wente Vineyards was first to put the words Chardonnay on a label ( in 1936!) and is considered "The First Family of Chardonnay". Today they are the oldest family owned and operated winery in the US, all estate grown since 1883. The Fourth & Fifth Generation of Wente is celebrating their 135th anniversary this year!
Join City Winery in celebrating this historic winery and all that they do! After a brief seminar where guests will be tasting through effects of winemaking techniques in 4 Wente Chardonnays, we will welcome guests to mingle with Wente’s Vice President of Sales & Education while tasting a selection of both red and rosé wines from the estate. During this time, our guests will enjoy snacks crafted by our Executive Chef.
