Bruno Ferretti is the sixth generation of the Ferretti Family that runs Pietra Pinta, dedicated to the passion of making wine on lands of volcanic origin using sustainable methods of production. They maintain and protect product quality and the environment using state-of-the-art techniques while following the methods of traditional and organiccultivation.
Tenuta Pietra Pinta is located 34 miles south of Rome in the Laziowine region near the Mediterranean Sea. Lazio is unique due to the ancient volcanoes in the region creating soils that play into the complexity of their wines. Lazio, though up-and-coming, still is one of the most overlookedwine regions in Italy. John Maisanowill be on hand as Bacchus Importsthe sole importer and distributor of Pietra Pinta wines in the U.S. Pairings was the first store in the U.S. to carry these wines.
