The 37th annual Mill Valley Wine, Beer & Gourmet Food Tasting is right around the corner and this annual fundraiser is looking more exciting and delicious than ever!  Bringing together community, the Mill Valley Wine, Beer & Gourmet event attracts aficionados from around the Bay Area for one of the most enjoyable wine and food events of the year.  Over 65 wineries, 20+ gourmet food products, local restaurants and breweries will all participate in beautiful downtown Mill Valley.

WINERIES

Each year thousands of wine enthusiasts from around the Bay Area attend the annual event to enjoy its ultimate sensory experience that is set in one of the County’s most beautiful towns.  More than 65 wineries are participating this year including vintners from Napa, Sonoma, Alexander Valley and Mendocino, as well as many hard to find imports will round out the day’s wine tasting.

Highlights for the 2018 event include new wineries Poe Wines (Napa), featuring their single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Anderson Valley, Preston Farm & Winery (Healdsburg) with their wide variety of reds, white wines and rosés, and Bella Union (Napa) specializing in the art of blending Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

CRAFT BEERS

There is something for everyone! Beer buffs can enjoy a variety of Bay Area breweries including East Brother Beer Co. (Richmond), Faction Brewing (Alameda), Devoto Orchard (Sebastopol), Fort Point Beer Company (San Francisco), Fogbelt Brewing Company (Santa Rosa), Headlands Brewing Company (Mill Valley), Iron Springs (San Rafael), Lagunitas (Petaluma), Moylan’s Brewing Company and Marin Brewing Company (Marin), and Sufferfest Beer Company (San Francisco).

GOURMET FOOD PRODUCERS

Delicious tastes to please the palette will be available from fresh made breads to olive oils, cheeses, granolas, cookies, crackers and hot sauces, many from local producers. Food producers include Acme Bread Co (Berkeley), Anette's Chocolates (Napa), Batter Up Dough on the Go (San Rafael, Beber Almondmilk (Chico), Caia's Cookies (Berkeley), Fiorellos Gelato (San Rafael), Floyd and Fred’s Hot Lime (Mill Valley), Fogliani Foods, G-Nola (Sonoma County), Jewels of the Forest (Occidental), Kettle Krackers (Sonoma County), Mammoth Bar (San Francisco) Marin Kombucha (Novato), Miyoko's (Marin), Nicasio Valley Cheese, Point Reyes Farmstead, Red Barn Ranch, Rustic Bakery (San Rafael), San Korean Kitchen (Mill Valley), Silk Road Tea (San Rafael), Sunwink, Tea Crush (San Francisco) and Tomales Farmstead Cheese.

RESTAURANTS

Local participating restaurants will be offering up some mouth-watering samples of their most popular dishes.  El Paseo, Piazza D’Angelo Ristorante, Playa, Flour Craft Bakery & Café, Sol Food, La Ginestra, Bungalow 44, Pizza Antica, BCMV, and Urban Remedy.

NEW FOR 2018

Adding even more excitement to the day will be a silent auction featuring fine wines and gourmet food baskets from many of the event participants. The silent auction will be open to patrons as well as to the public (a separate public entrance to the silent auction table will be provided).

The event also features complimentary valet bicycle parking, provided by the Marin County Bicycle Coalition and sponsored by Tam Bikes in Mill Valley.

Proceeds from the 2018 Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet will benefit the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce and Kiddo! the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation.
