l’Eté du Vin, the country’s longest-running charity wine auction, will take place Aug. 4 at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. This one-of-a-kind evening celebrates “everything wine” with wine tastings and a gourmet dinner as well as silent and live auctions for wine, unique wine experiences and luxury items. This year’s event honors seven distinguished women vintners: Zelma Long, International Winemaker; Vitalie Taittinger, Champagne Taittinger; Shannon Staglin, Staglin Family Wines; Pam Starr, Crocker & Starr Wines; Marimar Torres, Marimar Estate Vineyard & Winery; Lindy Novak, Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery; and Jenne Lee Bonaccorsi, Bonaccorsi Wine Company.Tom Black, who received the 2017 Norman M. Lipman Award will chair this year’s event. .Established in 1980, the Nashville Wine Auction has raised more than $23 million for organizations whose purpose is directly related to treatment, patient care and eradication of cancer here in Middle Tennessee and beyond.
