Whatcom Northwest Wine Festival on 4 August 2018, is the only adjudicated competitive wine festival between Vancouver British Columbia and Seattle, Washington. The Whatcom Northwest Wine Festival is open to wineries from British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Enjoy up to 50 different NW wineries pouring up to 150 different wines! $75 V.I.P. ticket, available only through Eventbrite, $50 General Admission tickets available through Eventbrite and at the door. Larger V.I.P. Lounge sponsored by Wine Press Northwest and Bellingham Alive Magazine. Serveiced by two Whatcom County Restaurants including Hundred North, the second restaurant TBA, and in-house catering. Each hour two NW wineries will pour exclusive wines not available in the Grand Ballroom. Open to V.I.P. ticket holders only!
Wines entered in the competition will receive their bronze, silver, gold, and double gold, medals during the public tasting. The Best of Show trophy will be awarded just after the medal awards are announced!
The Bellingham Northwest Wine Festival is a qualifying event for the Wine Press Northwest Platinum Competition. Wines winning, gold or double gold medals or the Best of Show trophy are eligible for the WPNW Platinmum event!
