"A Rockstar 2012 Vintage for Brunello di Montalcino"
"2012 is not a vintage to miss for fans of Brunello di Montalcino and it's clear that these wines have [a lot] in common with the legendary 2010 vintage and are most like the 2004s, a harmonious and gorgeous year for Brunellos. They show beautiful perfumes of ripe fruit and hints of earth with a mandarin and orange highlight. The palates are rich and dense, with an underlying crispness and linear thread from start to finish. Most of the wines are so drinkable now, but they have the balance and structure to improve with age. Don't miss buying some 2012, especially if you missed out on 2010." James Suckling
