Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
Gosling’s Black Seal has a rich, intricate flavour, well balanced and nuanced with butterscotch, vanilla and caramel. Impressive enough to earn the Beverage Testing Institute’s highest honour, the Platinum Medal. We were pleased, but hardly surprised. After all, we’ve been at this awhile. Today, unlike most spirits, Black Seal includes products of both pot stills, as used in fine Cognacs, and continuous stills, as used in grappa. One imparts flavour, the other yields a subtle elegance. Together they work wonders. We aren’t averse to offering occasional variations on our classics. In typical Gosling fashion, we didn’t just dash out a new product. It took several attempts and repeated blending and tastings (tough work, but someone had to do it). We proudly arrived at a muscular, but refined 140 proof rum that not only won praise from homeward bound visitors, but also from competition judges. Gosling’s 151 proof Black Seal Rum enjoys the same great popularity through its inimitable flavour, characteristic taste and unique quality. This lip-tingling spirit makes an ideal complement to any exotic, sun-drenched libation and is excellent in desserts that call for flaming. Black Seal has become synonymous with Bermuda. It’s the national drink and the island nations most widely exported product.
Gosling’s Gold Seal Rum
Gosling’s Gold Rum - our first new product in over 100 years - is a world apart from traditional amber rums. Robust, yet remarkably soft. The result of years of sipping and perfecting, its intricate, luscious character lives up admirably to its impressive lineage. Admittedly, it wasn’t easy. But, by using only the finest distillates in strict accordance with techniques handed down over six generations, we finally created a distinctive amber rum that is impressing demanding rum enthusiasts everywhere. This is a well-balanced blend of pot still distillates and continuous still distillates. This unique, proprietary blend is what sets Gosling’s Gold apart from others. You’ll find it has a rich, golden amber colour, a nose of vanilla, apricot, mango and a lightly smoked oak character. The taste is smooth but robust with hints of citrus/tropical flavours and nutty undertones. Unusually versatile, it can be enjoyed straight, on-the-rocks, with ginger ale or as a mixer to elevate any rum recipe.

Nineteen crimes turned criminals into colonists. Upon conviction British rogues guilty of a least one of the 19 crimes were sentenced to live in Australia, rather than death. This punishment by “transportation” began in 1783 and many of the lawless died at sea. For the rough-hewn prisoners who made it to shore, a new world awaited. As pioneers in a frontier penal colony, they forged a new country and new lives, brick by brick. This wine celebrates the rules they broke and the culture they built.
Brockmans Gin
Brockmans is a beautifully made, intensely smooth gin to be enjoyed into the night. It is deliciously sumptuous with a daring allure. The flavour notes that make Brockmans so unique are derived from an intriguing and unique bond of flavours. The Bulgarian coriander plays its part and has an aromatic, almost gingery orange flavour, which marries beautifully with the softer, more rounded harmonies of blueberries and blackberries. This inspired combination, together with the dry, bitter sweet peel of Valencia oranges, prolong the deeper tones and serve to give Brockmans its intensely smooth, beautiful taste.
