The future of the wine business is looking bright, in no small part due to a paradigm shift – female winemakers are growing in numbers, as are the numbers of female-owned wineries. Wine has long been a male-dominated business, (currently California can claim only 10% of its winemakers female out of 3700+ wineries) but that is changing rapidly.
Join us in celebrating 12 winemakers that will show in delicious detail how these ladies are re-forming the wine landscape, making important contributions to how we think about and enjoy wine. Take a tour with us from upstart Arianna Occhipinti, working naturally in Sicily, all the way to Cathy Corison, doyenne of Napa Valley Cabernet, with stops all over Europe and the New World in between!
