The beloved and traditional Sunday Afternoon Garden Party "The Lilac Party" on May 20, 2018 will be held under the Tent at the Willowwood Arboretum. Lilacs will be in bloom as well as many other wonderful Spring plants and shrubs in the garden.
Additionally, Amir Mortezai, Pianist and composer, will fill the air with melodious background music as all guests enjoy viewing the very special and unusual plants in the Silent Auction and taste the wonderful hors d'oeuvres and extensive cheese table provided by Ross and Owren.
And The Willowwood Foundation is very pleased to announce that the Lilac Party Wine Tasting will be hosted by Andrea Maranca, Proprietor, Tewksbury Fine Wine and Spirits, one Old Turnpike, Oldwick. Andrea has been recognized as one of six distinguished women in wine by Inside New Jersey Magazine. Her shoppe features boutique wines, spirits, wonderful bread (if you make it to her store early enough on Friday mornings plus exceptional personalized service. Andrea will offer samples of a portfolio of beautiful, limited production premium wines. Thomas Jefferson said, “Good wine is a necessity of life.” She couldn’t agree more.
