We are definitely not feeling the global warming here in New York yet this year with only TWO DAYS so far in the month of April getting above the 62-degree mark!!!
C’mon spring…where are you???!!!!
Normally by this time of year, we would have already had a handful of days in the 70’s… and one of the hottest categories in the wine market today would be flying out the door…ROSÉ.
According to Forbes.com the popularity of ROSÉ continued last year with a 53% growth in the category (Sales of $258 million) and over 25% of the nation’s rose being consumed right here in our back yard (the NY Metro market).
At Zachys we decided to “force spring to show up” by hosting our first-ever ROSÉ LAUNCH PARTY on Thursday, April 26th from 4:30 – 7:30pm. We plan on converting our store location to a SEA OF PINK as we parade out over TWO DOZEN of this year’s new arrivals for your tasting pleasure. And if tasting the finest the market has to offer in one fell swoop was not enough, we are partnering with POPOJITO MedMexKitchen as they will serve up accompanying culinary delights that will have us all yearning for summer.
We all discussed what we love most about Rosé in the summertime and will be doing our best to bring that experience to you at Zachys on Thursday night. There is a complimentary event, you just need to bring taste for great rosé and a willingness to help us urge on the start of spring.
