Join the "World's Best Sommelier" Larry Stone MS for a tasting of his brilliant new Oregon project, Lingua Franca. Larry will be in-store tasting a selection of his favorites on May 22nd from 5:30 pm.
Lingua Franca is the newest project from Dominique Lafon, of Meursault fame, and Larry Stone MS, Sommelier extraordinaire with one of the most accomplished winemakers in Oregon, Thomas Savre. Thomas cut his teeth at DRC, Dujac, and Maison Nicolas Potel, and today works closely with Dominique Lafon to make exceptional chardonnay and pinot noir from this exquisite terroir. We first saw Larry and Dominique's work in a few earlier vintages of Evening Land, which many consider some of the finest wines ever to come out of Oregon. They left Evening Land and have happily recombined their efforts in this new exciting project.
