This Bandol-inspired Rose´ is a beauty, offering up lovely and persistent citrus and stone fruits, highlighted by cherry, watermelon rind, nectarine and peach flavors. The wine is firmly buttressed by strong balancing acidity. The medium bodied frame is layered, textured, balanced and elegant, and the wine will drink well on release or age for 3-7 years.

Another early favorite this year, the Pinot Noir Rose from Von Winning's estate vineyards in Germany's Pfalz region is very fresh and bright, with juciy peach and raspberry flavors supported by tangy acidity. Supplies are very limited, so stock up before it's gone!

With this Pinot, they look to create a food-friendly, nuanced wine that represents the unique character of the Anderson Valley. Somewhat remote from most of Northern California’s wine-growing districts, this valley shelters a surprisingly harmonious blend of the wild and the civilized: in one vista, one can see sheep ranches, redwood groves, apple orchards, and impenetrable oak scrub.

Intense and thick ruby red color. Complex on the nose, reminiscent of fruits of the forest jam, sweet spices, thyme and cocoa. Full-bodied. Excellent balance between alcohol, acids ,and tannins, with a persistent finish and a pleasant sweet, fresh and fruity follow-through.
