Bernhardt Winery announces their second annual Strawberry, Chocolate and Wine Festival: Presenting a day of indulgence in strawberries, chocolates, fine arts and wines!
General admission for adults includes: a commemorative wine glass, a chocolate tasting stroll of four wine tastings divinely paired with chocolates at each chocolatier’s station, a visit to the chocolate fountain, and a train-ride vineyard tour conducted by wine journalist, Ron Saikowski. There will also be demonstrations, live music throughout the day, along with local artisan vendors.
One of the fun activities for chocolate lovers will be demonstrations hosted by owners, Jerry and Jerri Bernhardt featuring four local chocolatiers. The Bernhardts will join the owners of Big Little Fudge, located in Montgomery, who has been on national TV, and Macaw Confections, located in Spring, who makes unique and exotic 3D printed chocolates as well as their signature clusters, along with Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue, located in Spring and Tomball, a “bean-to-bar” chocolate maker. Also, Chocolate Passion, located in Conroe, who creates hand-crafted truffles from authentic Venezuelan Criollo chocolate, and Schakolad Chocolate Factory - Woodlands, , located in The Woodlands, who creates hand-made European-style chocolates, unique molded items, sugar free chocolates, and more.

As part of the day’s events, there will be a unique wine tasting in the barrel room of two Bernhardt’s award-winning Ports drawn directly from the barrels paired with chocolate truffles. This special tasting is an extra $15, or $10 if purchased with a combination ticket.
For your dipping pleasure, a decadent chocolate fountain with assorted fresh strawberries and fruits, snack cookies and pretzels is included in the adult ticket. Children tickets for this activity are available for $6 and includes the train ride through the vineyard, a big hit with adults and children alike!
A highlight of the festival is our vendor fair which spotlights locally grown produce and artisan products. A wide variety of vendors includes custom, one-of-a–kind winery furniture, specialty soaps and natural beauty products, cheeses, honey, Texas made olive oils and more. Also, local food trucks will have plenty of food choices to satisfy your snack, lunch and dinner needs!
*Regular wine tastings, live music, vendor fair and food trucks will be open to the public and a ticket is not required.
