The Music in the Valley, Folk and Wine Festival July 14 & 15, 10am-7pm daily (museum sites close at 5pm)
Music in the Valley, presented in partnership with Folknet, draws hundreds of regional musicians for casual daytime jams and performances. Guests will also enjoy main stage performances by some of the area's top musicians, wine from eleven award winning Ohio wineries and plenty of good local food trucks and vendors. Stop and listen to the musicians as you tour the grounds of the living history museum. All historic homes and craft & trade demonstrations are open until 5pm including; glassblowing, blacksmithing, spinning, weaving and pottery.
Participating Wineries
This year's event is expanding with later hours, a larger tented area, more food vendors and wineries and wine education seminars sponsored by the Wine Buzz Magazine. A wine and cheese pairing seminar will be at 2:00pm daily and sensory tasting 101 at 4:00pm daily (tasting charges apply). Main Stage performances are supported by the Peninsula Foundation and GAR Hall.
Food Vendors
Admission to the festival is $10 adults (13 years and older), $5 youth (3-12years) - Additional fees apply for wine tasting and purchase. Six tasting tickets and a logo glass are $10, additional tasting tickets may be purchased for $1 each.
