City Winery and American Airlines present an intimate evening with Christian Beyer and the wines of Domaine Emile Beyer in the private barrel room at City Winery. The Beyer family has been making wine from the sun-kissed slopes above the village of Eguisheim in Alsace for fourteen generations. The domaine is now guided by Christian Beyer, who in 2017 was named Alsace’s “Winemaker of the Year” by the prestigious French publication “Revue des Vins de France.” Christian will explore the nuances of the key grape varieties of Alsace, and discuss the challenges of organic farming as well as the history and future of wine in Alsace. The domaine’s wines will be paired with dishes created by City Winery’s chef to highlight their distinctive character and their versatility.
American Airlines is the Official Airline of City Winery and the First Class International Pairing Series.
