Four decades ago, Jerry Lohr was a pioneer in Monterey and Paso Robles when he realized that this region would produce world class and award wining wines. Now, vintners from "up north" are flocking to the Central Coast because its climate is perfect to grow superb Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet grapes.
