Great grapes make great wines, and this tasting features two of the very best: Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. While these two grape varietals grow other places, Nebbiolo is best known for its Piemonte roots, and Pinot Noir for Burgundy. To highlight the history and typicity of these noble grapes, we'll be pouring wines from both historic regions--and we may slip in some surprise bottles as well. This special event, led by an informed IWM sommelier and accompanied by regional meats and cheeses, will explore the magic that happens when a specific grape meets its ideal soil, microclimate, regional traditions and producers. Learn more about Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir as you come to appreciate the wines these two grapes have given us wine-lovers. Wine is a life-long love affair, and there's always room for more in your glass!
