Prosciutto along the Adriatic coast, limoncello along banks of the Po River; Emilia Romagna is home to some of Italy’s most stunning waterfront dining. At Morini Piccolo, the new waterfront boardwalk street food snack stand by Osteria Morini, the spirit of the regional waterfront comes to DC.
Opening for a preview weekend on March 23rd + 24th with the Grand Opening Weekend on 4/6, Morini Piccolo moves waterfront dining to another level, opening on a wood plank boardwalk built overtop of the Anacostia river. A fast-casual, outdoor concept, Morini Piccolo will serve frozen cocktails including a frozen negroni, draft wines; the loved street sweets of Emilia Romagna: gelato ice cream sandwiches, gnocco fritto and tiramisu. Savory street snacks are also served, including Panini, salads and Osteria Morini’s loved program of Battilardo – selections of cured meats and cheeses.
Morini Piccolo will open for a preview weekend on March 23rd + 24th with the grand opening for the season on 4/6. Piccolo will be open from 11am-9:30pm on Fridays and 11am-10pm (or until Washington Nationals games end) on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Washington Nationals home game days.
