Our “Field-to-Fork Agritourism Experience” Tour is the latest in a series of food tours.  This tour is perfect for experienced foodies and those just expanding their interest in farm-grown food and cooking.”

This tour is designed for a limited group of 12 guests to ensure that everyone has a full and personal experience.  Join us for an all-day journey traveling the historic roads of Adams County together to spend time on local farms, harvest seasonal produce, sample local wine and cider, hand pick local farm products and work with a local chef to turn your harvest into a fresh, delicious meal. We can’t wait to show you all that our Gettysburg farmlands have to offer!

The tour includes a stop at a local dairy where Alpine goats roam on open pasture and participants will learn about how artisan goat cheese is made; and an orchard where guests will harvest fruit fresh from its pick-your-own orchard as well as a tasting of local wine and cider. This new experience also includes harvesting herbs and vegetables, learning how Shitake mushrooms are grown and how bees are raised, to collecting eggs from free range chickens.

At the final destination, a local chef will combine all of the products collected throughout the day into a fabulous meal that will be served (weather-dependent) under the spreading arms of the farm's enormous maple tree as part of a truly rare and unique field-to-fork experience.

Registration required.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.SavorGettysburgFoodTours.Com  $155 pp
