The wines from Ken Wright Cellars have received 111 scores of 90 points or more in the Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast, and they continue to do so, year after year. In 2014, Ken’s 2012 Abbott Claim Vineyard Pinot Noir was ranked the number one wine in the world by Wine Enthusiast. His most recent recognition was being featured on the cover of the May 2015 issue of Wine Spectator. He is the first Oregon winemaker to be on the cover and the issue included a 9-page article that highlighted his lifetime achievements in the Oregon Pinot Noir industry and his local philanthropies.
Asa Sarver, National & International Sales Manager, has been with Ken Wright Cellars for 11 years but Oregon has not always been his home. Asa is originally from the Rocky Mountain state of Colorado. Around 2004, Ken and Karen Wright convinced Asa to move to Oregon and manage their wine sales, full-time. Asa has been instrumental in making Ken’s wine available to customers across 44 states and nine international markets.
