A chance meeting with winemaker Meghan Ball during the holidays (she was in the store shopping with her DC-area parents) led to a great idea: what if we could share with you some of the very exciting developments in California’s Paso Robles region as seen through the eyes of a young winemaker with on the ground experience? Since the Linne Calodo wines have just arrived here in Virginia for the first time, this seemed like a great chance to make that happen!

And Meghan is the perfect person to help us understand why Paso Robles is just about the most exciting growing region in California these days. With stints at Jean Georges Group’s restaurants in New York and more than 4 years as an assistant winemaker and wine educator in Paso, she understands Paso wines as a consumer and producer – and she knows how to share that knowledge with us!

We’ll be developing the wine list over the next few weeks, but we know it will go heavy on Rhone varietals (Syrah, Mourvedre, and Grenache red and white) with other treats thrown in as well. As always, we’ll serve light snacks with the wines and have plenty of opportunities for Q&A with Meghan. Reserve your seats today online or by calling us at 703.356.6500.
