This Sunday we are off to France for a printer’s handful of French Sunday Sippers. From 2 to 4pm we will have a representative answering questions.

2015 Trimbach Pinot Blanc  $17
“Very dry style with lemon, green apple and steel aromas and flavors. Medium body, tight and crisp. All you need. Drink now.” James Suckling

2016 Saget la Perriere Sauvignon Blanc  $11
A brilliant Sauvignon with clear green glints. The nose is elegant with expressions of white flowers, elderflower, acacia and a trace of minerality. After a silky attack, the mid-palate shows savory freshness with notes of white peach and lychee fruit.

2016 Paul Mas Carignan  $14
Intense deep purple color with ruby red tints. Spices and blackberry on the nose, followed by underwood and cocoa aromas, finishing on toasted oak notes. Full-bodied rich and mellow with velvety tannins. Will go well with meat pies, game and grilled red meat, beef stews, medium-flavored and hard cheeses.

2015 Saget la Perriere Chinon Marie de Beauregard  $17
Garnet red with ruby highlights and a lovely intensity of color. On the nose, aromas of coffee and sweet pepper with a hint of camphor mixed with vanilla. On the palate, aromas of undergrowth mixed with musk and blueberry. Solid structure with silky smooth tannins.

Madrona Wine Merchants offers free wine tastings featuring 4-5 selections on a theme every Saturday from 2 until the bottles run out and on Sunday we offer a mini-tasting of two wines all day from 11-5.
